About Robert
Robert Nelson was raised on an Iowa farm, graduated from Iowa State University and Pepperdine University, and had careers in capital equipment, electronics, education, and missions.
At the wedding of a mutual friend, Robert met Diana and he had no doubt that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Over the years, after they married and began to grow spiritually, Robert and Diana wanted to know more about this man Jesus and to share that knowledge. Clearly, God had a purpose and intent in Robert’s life, even before he had any desire to pursue, or fall in love with, his savior, Jesus. Eventually, Robert and Diana felt called to take their mission assignment to other countries.
God has since revealed that Robert’s first 71 years were merely the classroom for what was to come. A new assignment, the Ekklesia, has begun for Robert.
Robert currently lives in northern Arizona, was married for 47 years, and has two children and seven grandchildren scattered across the United States.
